DESIGNERS AND TRADEMARKS

Hi! Something more

Designing clothes that respect the environment had its boom years in the 1960s, when the "hippie" style marked trends, therefore many people associate organic clothing with the hippie style.

Today, there are several trademarks that have joined the trend of ecological clothes. Some of these are: Armani, Nike, Levi's, Vans, Timberland, Marks & Spencer...

There are famous designers such as: Luxoir, La Casita de Wendy, David Delfín, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Hannibal Laguna... who have joined the campaign of Greenpeace "fashion without toxic" and have presented at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, a collection of clothes without harmful substances to the environment.

Also, stores such as Zara, H&M, include among their collections clothing made with organic tissues.

Concept of ecological designer!

Good Morning people :)

Nowadays, designers can do something more than economists, politicians, companies and even environmentalists to stop environmental degradation. The power of the designers is like a catalyst.

Many people think that designers are needed to stop the environmental degradation of the planet. When a new product is beneficial to the environment and it reaches the market, their effects are multiplied. The chain of profits is complete: the companies, the governments, the homes, the customers, everybody obtains more benefit, lower cost, more efficiency, greater economy, less spending and more useful environment. Recycling is already an important activity in all productive activities.

The design of materials that allow being reused, they will be in the future the guaranty of good ecological products. Today the designers have effective tools to reduce the environmental impact. The designer is already indispensable. And now it is a great opportunity to offer their knowledge and skills to the people.
